1. What is the Everest Esports Program?

Everest Esports is a structured after-school competitive gaming program that provides tournaments, coaching tools, academic support, and safe online play for students.

2. Is esports safe for students?

Yes. All competitions are monitored, communication is moderated, and players use a protected Discord environment with program rules. Behavior standards are enforced just like in sports.

3. Does esports affect academic performance?

Research shows esports can improve student engagement, attendance, teamwork, and problem-solving. We also require students to maintain good academic standing to participate.

4. What games do you offer?​​

Game availability can vary, but typically includes:

  • Rocket League

  • Fortnite (Private, non-violent mode if required)

  • Madden / NBA 2K

  • Super Smash Bros. (optional depending on school rules)

  • Valorant (optional — only offered if approved by school)

Schools can choose which titles they want to allow.

5. What equipment is required?

Only basic equipment is needed:

  • Any standard Chromebook, PC, or console (depending on game)

  • Headset

  • Stable internet connection

We can help schools determine what they already have.

6. How do students join a tournament?

Students simply:

  1. Sign up through the school or Everest registration form

  2. Join the school’s team Discord

  3. Receive match times and instructions

  4. Check in on the day of the event

The process is simple and supervised.

7. How does scoring and ranking work?

All events follow structured brackets or round-robin play. Students earn:

  • Match points

  • Rankings

  • Seasonal achievements

  • Team standings

Your school gets a dashboard with results.

8. Is there a cost to the school?

We offer multiple packages.

Some include:

  • School-only tournaments

  • Multi-school leagues

  • Fully managed events

  • FREE program setup when your school participates

  • BONUS: Schools may receive a free vending machine placement

Pricing is flexible — we build around your needs.

9. Who runs the tournaments?

Our staff handles:
