How To Join (discord)
Welcome to Everest Gaming
Joining Everest Gaming is simple and takes just a few minutes. Follow the steps below to get connected, register for events, and start competing.
1. Join Our Discord Server
All tournaments and communication happen inside Discord.
Click the “Join Discord” button or use your invite link to join the server.
Once you join:

Read the Welcome message

Check the Rules
-
Follow the instructions to get verified
2. Get Your Roles
Inside Discord, go to the #roles channel and select the roles that apply to you.
Common roles include:

Player
-
School Team
-
Coach / Staff
-
Spectator
Roles unlock access to tournament channels, announcements, and match lobbies.
3. Register for a Tournament
Go to the Tournaments page on our website and pick the event you want to join.
Each tournament page includes:

Game format
-
Date & time
-
Rules
-
Registration link
Click Register, complete the form, and confirm your spot.
4. Check In on Event Day
Every tournament has a check-in window before it starts.
To check in:

Join Discord
-
Go to the #check-in channel
-
Follow the instructions from tournament staff
Players who do not check in will be removed from the bracket.
5. Join Your Match Lobby
When the bracket is live, head to:

#match-lobby for instructions
-
#match-results to report scores
-
Voice channels if required (optional)
A staff member will guide players from here.
6. Play and Report Your Scores
After each match:

Take a screenshot of the final score
-
Post it in #match-results using the required format
-
Wait for staff to confirm your win/loss
The bracket updates automatically once verified.
